What is RC Car?
The remote control model car is referred to as RC Car for short, which is remotely controlled or radio controlled. The remote control model car is not a toy, it is actually a reduced version of a real car. It has the same suspension system as a car and has the same control feeling as a real car. Simply put, some remote-controlled model cars are actually the epitome of a real sports car, but we are not just sitting in the car to control it.
In Europe, America, Japan and even Southeast Asian countries, remote control model car competition is a sports competition, a sport and a high-tech hobby; enthusiasts participating in this sport have ages ranging from 5 to 80 years old, which shows that this is a competition event that is not subject to age restrictions.
The reason why remote control models are considered "hobbies" rather than "toys" is that remote control models require players to have certain knowledge and skills, which is fundamentally different from toys that can be played after buying them.
The difference between RC model and ordinary toys
Some people may ask, "It looks the same, what's the difference?"
As mentioned above, "RC is actually a reduced version of a real car. It has the same suspension system as a car and has the same control feeling as a real car." Think about whether you need to control the depth of the throttle and the amplitude of the steering wheel when driving. The same is true for RC. It also requires fine control of the throttle and direction. Where you want it to go depends on your control! The toy's throttle and steering are like switches, with only two states: on and off, and there is no so-called fine control.
About the driving form
Remote control model cars can be divided into two categories according to the source of power. The first category is "EP RC Car" powered by battery/electric motor, and the second category is "GP RC Car" powered by internal combustion engine.

"Electric drive" is the mainstream driving form of consumer-grade RC at this stage. Electric vehicles are easy to get started, have less noise, are easy to maintain, are more economical and affordable, do not need to buy gasoline, and save the trouble caused by daily refueling and maintenance of the power system.
The crystallization of technology
Remote control model cars can be said to be the product of technology, and have widely used many advanced materials and technologies, such as carbon fiber, titanium alloy, aviation aluminum, and are very common parts materials in remote control cars. Moreover, the latest electrical/electronics and digital technologies will be used on remote control cars as soon as possible.
The main body of the remote control model car is divided into two categories: electric remote control vehicles and fuel-powered remote control vehicles, including drift cars, racing cars, climbing cars, rally cars, short trucks, big bikes, off-road vehicles, container trucks, etc. The ratio is generally 1:5, 1:8, 1:10, 1:12, 1:24, etc. The smaller the ratio (the larger the number behind it), the lighter the weight and the smaller the body.
